It is always an honor for Healthkeeperz to support the annual Lumbee Homecoming Elder's Luncheon, and we are grateful to once again serve as a major sponsor of this meaningful event.

This year's theme, "From Resilience to Recognition: Honoring Our Elders' Strive to 575," was a powerful reminder that the historic achievement of federal recognition was made possible through the perseverance, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment of our Lumbee elders.

As Healthkeeperz celebrates 60 years of caring for our communities, we were humbled to join more than 500 elders in recognizing their legacy and the foundation they have built for future generations.

Healthkeeperz President & CEO, Tim Brooks, shared closing remarks reflecting on our history, the vision of our founder, Howard Brooks, who established Healthkeeperz in 1966, and our continued mission to serve others. Sixty years later, that mission remains unchanged: Caring for all people for the glory of God.

What began in 1966 as a small community pharmacy in Pembroke has grown into one of North Carolina’s trusted providers of home-based healthcare services. Founded by Howard Brooks as Pembroke Drug Center, Healthkeeperz was built on a simple mission, "Caring for all people for the glory of God."

President & CEO Tim Brooks recently reflected on watching his father leave home late at night to help neighbors get the medicine they needed, a legacy of service that continues to shape Healthkeeperz today.

For 60 years, Healthkeeperz has been honored to provide quality care, medical equipment, and support services to families across North Carolina.
