🎓 STUDENT SPOTLIGHT | Meet Gavin!
We’re excited to highlight Gavin, who is currently completing his physical therapy clinical rotation here at Pender Community Health!
Gavin’s interest in physical therapy began through his own experiences playing sports and recovering from injuries. He was drawn to the profession after seeing how physical therapists can build meaningful relationships with their patients while helping them work toward their goals.
When choosing a clinical rotation, Gavin heard great things about the welcoming community at PCH and was excited for the opportunity to gain experience in both outpatient and inpatient settings. He has especially enjoyed seeing how our team works together to provide the best care possible for our patients.
His favorite part so far? Getting to know the people in our community! 💚 Gavin shared how kind and welcoming everyone has been — and he’s even enjoyed his time staying at Prairie Breeze and making some new friends there, too!
We’re so happy to have Gavin as part of the PCH team during his rotation and wish him all the best as he continues his journey toward becoming a physical therapist! 👏

🚑 Preparedness takes teamwork! Last week, PCH staff partnered with Pender Rescue for a multi-victim trauma drill involving pediatric and adult patients.

Our teams practiced triage, stabilization and emergency response in a realistic scenario—strengthening the teamwork and coordination that matter when every second counts.

A big thank you to Pender Rescue and our community volunteers for helping make this valuable training possible! 💙
