Thank you, Pendleton Foundation Trust, for your incredible support of our walking trails project! We can't wait for these trails to be more accessible for our community members.
A safe place to walk, accessible to all.
This spring, Pendleton Foundation Trust awarded a grant to the St. Anthony Hospital Foundation to support paving the walking trails around St. Anthony Hospital.
Since the hospital moved to its Southgate location in 2013, the gravel trail has been used by hospital staff, patients, families, and community members for fresh air, movement, and connection. During COVID, these trails also became a place of encouragement, where community members left painted rocks and messages of support for hospital staff.
Paving the trail will make it more accessible for people with mobility challenges, families with strollers, and anyone who may find gravel or muddy conditions difficult to navigate.
We are proud to support a project that helps care for the people who care for Pendleton.
Have an idea that could strengthen our community? Pendleton Foundation Trust’s Fall Grant Cycle opens August 1, with applications due October 1.
