🍂🎃 When the Activities Director is Away, the Residents Will Play! 🎃🍂

A huge thank you to our resident Gert’s daughter, Kathy, and her friend Marybeth, for bringing in all the supplies and spending time with our residents creating these adorable fall pumpkins made from fabric and rolls of toilet paper! 🧡

There were plenty of smiles, laughs, and creativity around the table—and just look how cute those pumpkins turned out! 🍁

We absolutely love when family members and friends come in and volunteer their time with our residents. It makes our community even more special, and we are so thankful for people like Kathy and Marybeth who help make these fun moments possible! ❤️

🦁 A Wild Day at the Zoo! 🦒🐘

On Friday, we packed up and headed out for a fun-filled adventure at the Seneca Park Zoo! Our residents enjoyed a beautiful day exploring the zoo, seeing the animals, and taking a relaxing ride on the tram. ☀️

From lions and giraffes to elephants and one very sleepy sea lion, there was plenty to see! But the best part was spending the day together, laughing, exploring, and making some wonderful memories. ❤️

We may have been a little tired by the end of the day, but it was absolutely worth it! Another great adventure for our Village at Penfield crew! 🐾🌿

You just never know what you'll find our Executive Director, Joyce, doing around The Village at Penfield! One minute she's chatting with staff, the next she's visiting with residents, and I've even caught her out in the courtyard trimming bushes.

Today, though, she had one of the sweetest jobs of all—feeding a 2-week-old rescue kitten that our Sales Specialist is fostering. 🐱🍼

We have to admit... we absolutely love having tiny kittens visiting the building during the week. They bring so many smiles to our residents and staff, and moments like these are just another reminder that home is where love is. ❤️

Today our community was full of smiles, laughter, and a little bit of magic at our Carnival Day! 🎪🎉

Residents, families, staff, and volunteers enjoyed an afternoon of carnival games with prizes, face painting, an amazing magic show by Marlin James, and delicious treats including fresh popcorn, cupcakes, lemonade, and iced tea.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped make today such a wonderful success—our incredible staff, dedicated volunteers, supportive family members, and of course, our amazing residents. It truly takes a village, and today was a beautiful reminder of what makes our community so special. ❤️Magic Marlin
