Heritage Hunters

Heritage Hunters Romance. Tragedy. Mysteries. All a part of your heritage. Heritage Hunters is available on all major platforms and also on YouTube. Thank you!

Our YT channel is https://www.youtube.com/. We believe that every ancestor has a story to be told. We welcome anyone to be a guest on our show who has a genealogy-related topic. If you would like to be on the show, please set up some time on our calendar at https://calendly.com/heritage-hunters/. We also welcome repeat/follow-up guests. We pre-record (because I have a bad habit of

using filler words!) so it's like having a cup of coffee with us and just chatting about genealogy! We are also seeking repositories/archives to spend about 10 minutes with us talking about their collections and holdings, and how they are valuable to genealogists. Finally, we like to advertise upcoming genealogy events -- so if you know of something you would like to be advertised, please email us at [email protected]. We will be sure to add it to the show. Upcoming goals for us: release more than one episode per month! We hope to hear from you all - please be sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel.

Heritage Hunters is proud to announce the launch of the Bucks County Lineage Society, a new heritage recognition program dedicated to preserving, documenting, and celebrating the families and individuals who helped shape the history of Bucks County, Pennsylvania.
The Bucks County Lineage Society was created to complement statewide and national lineage organizations by focusing specifically on the rich local history, settlement patterns, and community contributions unique to Bucks County. The program offers descendants the opportunity to document their ancestral ties to early Bucks County residents and gain formal recognition for their family’s place in the county’s historical legacy.
“Bucks County has one of the richest and most diverse historical landscapes in Pennsylvania,” said Barbara May, co-founder of Heritage Hunters. “This society was created to help individuals connect more deeply with their roots while preserving the stories, records, and contributions of the people who built the communities we know today.”
The program encourages genealogical research into families connected to Bucks County during significant historical periods, including colonial settlement, the Revolutionary War era, early township development, agricultural communities, industrial growth, and local civic leadership.
Applicants may qualify through direct lineage to an ancestor who lived in, contributed to, or was associated with Bucks County during eligible historical periods. The society welcomes descendants from all backgrounds whose family stories intersect with Bucks County’s history.
In addition to lineage recognition, the Bucks County Lineage Society aims to:
Promote genealogical and historical research related to Bucks County
Encourage preservation of local family records, documents, photographs, and stories
Foster appreciation for the county’s cultural and historical heritage
Support collaboration among researchers, historians, libraries, archives, and historical organizations
Create a lasting repository of documented Bucks County family histories
The society also provides educational resources and guidance for applicants researching their ancestry through local repositories, historical societies, archives, cemeteries, church records, land records, and court documents. Bucks County offers a wide range of valuable genealogical resources, including historical archives maintained by county offices and genealogical organizations.
The Bucks County Lineage Society is currently accepting applications for recognition.

I couldn’t keep it a secret! I gave Dave his Book of Life last night, which was supposed to be his Christmas gift. I am so amazed at the quality that Mixbook provided! I created an 8.5”x11” book, hard cover, lay-flat pages. It looks and feels stunning! The pages are a heavy-weight cardstock vs plain copy paper. It came out beautifully! Well worth every penny (and it got expensive because of all the pages I added!). Here are some of the pages from it. I will be doing this format for clients from now on! Interested in your own Book of Life? Connect with me and let’s discuss!
