🐺 Wolf Wednesday! 🐺

Our Wolf students have been all over campus this school year, and we love seeing all the wonderful things they’ve been up to! 💙

🎉 On Fridays, they head to the Commons to play Bingo. They lend a helping hand at The Pavilion for Healthcare during lunch service. And they always make time to stop by Administration to visit our sweet girl, Charlie!

We truly appreciate everything our Wolf students do to brighten the days of our residents and support our staff. Their kindness, time, and willingness to help make such a positive difference! ❤️

We can’t wait to see what the rest of the school year has in store! 🐺✨

⛳ THANK YOU for making our Golf Tournament a success! 🏌️‍♂️

We want to extend a heartfelt THANK YOU to all of our generous sponsors, hole sponsors, residents, friends, and everyone who participated in our golf tournament! Your support, enthusiasm, and generosity helped make this event such a wonderful success. We hope everyone had a fantastic time out on the course!

A special thank-you to our amazing employees who worked hard behind the scenes to set up and break down everything. We truly appreciate your time, teamwork, and dedication in making this event possible!

We are also grateful to Clay Today for coming out, spending time with our residents, and learning more about the purpose behind our golf tournament. Thank you for helping share our story and the meaningful impact this event makes in the lives of our residents.

Why We Golf: Our tournament helps raise funds for the Residents' Aid Fund and the James Cash Penney Legacy Fund, two important funds that make a lasting difference in the lives of those we serve.

The Residents' Aid Fund helps support residents who outlive their financial resources, ensuring they can continue to receive the care and support they need.

The James Cash Penney Legacy Fund helps with entrance fees for retired missionaries, ministers, YMCA workers, and individuals who have served in related not-for-profit helping professions.

Every sponsorship, donation, and round of golf helps support these meaningful missions, and we couldn't do it without YOU!

To our Centennial Partner Baptist Health/Baptist Clay thank you for your generosity and commitment to our community throughout our 100th year.

💙 Our Senior Leaders Are Making a Difference! 💙

Last week, our Senior Leaders headed over to PET (Personal Energy Transportation) to help clean and organize the building in preparation for the Mobility Worldwide 2026 Annual Conference and Legacy Banquet, hosted by Penney Retirement Community! 🙌

We are so grateful that they took time out of their busy schedules to lend a helping hand and make sure everything is ready for this special event.

🌎 What is PET?
Personal Energy Transportation is a volunteer-run nonprofit organization that builds and distributes three-wheeled, hand-powered wheelchairs to people around the world. In previous years, PET has been able to ship more than 800 wheelchairs in a single year! 🦽❤️

PET, located on the Penney Retirement Community campus, is also celebrating an incredible 25 years since its founding! 🎉🥳 What an amazing milestone and a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the impact PET has made in communities around the world.

We are incredibly thankful for all of the amazing volunteers—both on our campus and around the world—who give their time, energy, and talents to help make this incredible work possible.

And, of course, a huge THANK YOU to our generous donors and sponsors! Your continued support helps make this mission possible. 💙

Golden Rule Dining and Penmor are benefiting from the hard work of our interns. They're contributing to the success of lunch service at Penmor and playing a key role in food preparation and dessert service at Golden Rule Dining. Their cheerful faces and dedication are valued.

🐺⛳ A New Ride for the WOLF Program! ⛳🐺

A huge THANK YOU to the Westberry family for their generous donation of a golf cart to the WOLF Program! Their thoughtful gift will help teachers and students efficiently travel around campus as they complete their various jobs and projects. 🛺💙

We are so grateful for residents like the Westberrys who continue to support and invest in our students. We can’t wait to see all the amazing things the WOLF Program accomplishes during the upcoming school year!

We hope the teachers and students enjoy their new ride, and we’re excited to see what they have in store for our community this year! 🎉

WOLF stands for Working Opportunities Leading to the Future. The program is hosted by Penney Retirement Community in partnership with Clay County Schools and Challenge Enterprises, providing students with meaningful opportunities to build valuable skills and prepare for their futures.
