Prevent Blindness
Eye accidents can happen in a split-second. Chicago Cubs star Alex Bregman was taken to the hospital for treatment after being struck in the face by a foul ball while standing in front of the on-deck circle. Prevent Blindness has declared September as Sports Eye Safety month in an effort to remind athletes and bystanders of the importance of the proper eye protection while playing sports.
