Honoring Still Waters Gift Cards
After a lot of consideration, we have decided to honor and match Still Waters gift cards — both physical and electronic.
We have been so sad to see a business that served this community for 20 years close so abruptly, leaving so many clients without their trusted self-care spot. We also understand that losing the value of a gift card can make an already difficult situation feel very personal for many people.
We wanted to find a way to help those with outstanding gift cards while also making sure we were doing something sustainable for our small business. We feel that matching the gift cards is the best middle ground.
Here’s how it will work: If you have a $100 Still Waters gift card, we will honor that $100 toward a service of $200 or more. This applies to 2026 Still Waters gift cards only, and we will be offering this through the end of 2026.
We also know that many people have money sitting in their “Beauty Bank” that isn’t attached to an actual gift card and was instead stored in the old Still Waters system. We are aware of this and are working to see if there is a way for us to access those balances and honor them in the same matching fashion. This will take a little more work behind the scenes, so we aren’t quite ready to officially announce that part yet. We will share more as soon as we have a solution.
Most importantly, my heart truly goes out to the Still Waters staff. What happened has affected so many people, and the livelihoods of many wonderful employees were very suddenly and immediately impacted by the closure.
I hope that as a community, we can rally around those employees and support them during such an incredibly difficult transition.
