🧠✨ One of my favorite parts of my job? Learning.

Every chance I get, I spend time with physicians and specialists to better understand what my seniors are facing.

Today, I had the opportunity to see the brain through a neurologist’s eyes—and wow… it was absolutely fascinating! 🤯

The more I learn about dementia, strokes, Parkinson’s, and other neurological conditions, the better I can guide families with confidence and compassion. ❤️

I don’t just help seniors find a place to live—I work every day to better understand their journey.

💙 My heart is so full. 💙

I got to stop by and see one of the sweetest ladies I’ve ever had the privilege of helping… my precious Mary. 🥹

It’s hard to believe it’s already been a year since I helped her move into Grandview. I still remember how scared she was. She didn’t want to leave her home, and with no family to help guide or support her, the weight of making that decision rested on her shoulders alone. My heart hurt for her.

Today, I saw a completely different Mary. ❤️

She was smiling, laughing, surrounded by friends, and told me she wishes she had made the move sooner. Seeing her happy and thriving reminded me why I fell in love with this calling.

One thing that has always touched my heart… Mary has never remembered my name. But every single time she sees me, she smiles and says, “There’s my angel.” 😇

She may not remember my name, but she remembers how I made her feel. And to me, that’s one of the greatest compliments I could ever receive.

This is so much more than a job to me. These aren’t just “placements.” These are relationships, friendships, and moments I’ll carry with me forever.

I love you, Mary. Thank you for making my day today. 💙

💜 This isn’t just a social media post…it’s now Florida law.

On May 21, 2026, Governor Ron DeSantis signed Senate Bill 578 – the Alzheimer’s Disease Awareness Initiative into law, and it officially took effect on July 1, 2026.

Why does this matter?

✔️ Florida now has its first statewide Alzheimer’s Disease Awareness Initiative.
✔️ The law directs the Florida Department of Elderly Affairs to develop a statewide education and awareness campaign.
✔️ The goal is to help families recognize early warning signs, access trusted information, and connect with available resources sooner.

With an estimated 580,000 Floridians living with Alzheimer’s disease, education and early planning have never been more important.

As someone who helps families navigate senior living and memory care every day, I’m grateful to see Florida taking this important step.
