How often are you rucking??

Rucking for women is extremely beneficial!

- Builds full body strength
- Boosts bone density
- Fights osteoporosis
- increases caloric burn

All you need to get started is any backpack and some weight. Not even a ruck or plates. You can use your old jansport and some books.

I do recommend a Go Ruck back if do decide you like rucking as they’re built for comfort while loaded and built to withstand the weight.

As for my leash - it’s our favorite! As you can see it doesn’t get in the way while my pack is loaded. I don’t have to worry about trying to keep a hold on her if something pops up where I need both my hands.

Rucking is easy and enjoyable for all of us!

Episode 4 of drinking with Kim!

I’m trying the protein soda from so you don’t have to!

These can be purchased from as singles so you don’t have to buy an entire pack to find out if you like them.

I like that it’s an easy way to get 10g of protein without drinking a milky beverage.

Definitely enjoying this lemonade flavor! And it really does tasted like a CFA frosted lemonade!!

I would pour this over some vanilla soft serve to make my own recovery milkshake after a long run.

This drink is definitely dietitian approved!

Our trip to the mountain wouldn’t be complete without an elk sighting!

There were actually THREE just chilling in these peoples’ front yard. Clearly they were very comfortable as you see the first one just trying to catch a quick snooze.

At 44 years old I’m using crampons for the first time.

Most people might get scared and bake out of a hike like this snow covered trail - especially flatlanders.

But we got the nod of approval from our mountain friends that we could take on a 14er and that makes me excited.

Literally a month ago these Colorado mountains weren’t snow covered.

We arrive to snowy trails giving us new challenges.

I learned the art of crampons and how to dig in with your heels to get more purchase in the ice. I might have gotten a little too confident in a couple places 🤣

But I’m only coming home with a few scrapes and nothing broken.

It’s true I live at sea level. But when I’m not there, you’ll find me sucking air above tree lines.

There’s just something about being fully submersed in nature. Hiking your way up to look down at just how far you’ve come.

Explore more and go outside, people!!!
