What Is God?

The moment you think you’ve defined God, you’ve defined something lesser than God.

God is beyond human comprehension.

God is the Absolute ~
Pure consciousness.
God is Infinite love
not a feeling to be understood,
but a state of being.

God is beyond primordial nature
the world of matter, energy, and form.

Beyond words.
Beyond thought.
Beyond depiction.

Many names point; none contain.

Until God is directly experienced,
we have information about God
not knowledge of God.

The wisest speak with humility
not because they know less,
but because they have experienced
the incomprehensible.

The ancient sages gave way
to what cannot be defined:
Neti, neti.
Not this. Not this.

Not because God is nothing—

but because nothing you can name
is enough to contain God.

No-Thing Remains

And then, quietly,
the one who was seeking
begins to disappear.

The teacher informs.
The master transforms.

Speech returns to silence.

The heart knows without words.

Layer by layer, the veils begin to fade

Until there is no separation between the knower and the known.

You are God to the extent that you know God.

Beyond mind, consciousness remains.

Today’s Yoga Nugget:
Ready Or Not

If life has felt intense these past years, what is happening beneath the surface?

We are living in a time when evolution itself has accelerated.

Processing lifetimes of accumulated “garbage” in a single lifetime. Truths becoming harder to avoid.

What we once had lifetimes to evolve through at our own pace is now bringing us so directly face to face with ourselves.

Looking away will become a choice in itself.

Yoga has long been a path for accelerating our soul’s evolution.

And now, as life itself accelerates the process, yoga gives us the manual and the tools to consciously move through what we are being asked to evolve through.

Imagination was never just child’s play.

Today’s Yoga Nugget:
The Line in the Sand

Somewhere along the way, many of us learned to carry responsibility that was never fully ours.

We question our motives.
We second-guess our decisions.
We blame ourselves for burdens
we were never meant to hold.

Then comes the line in the sand.

People may still misunderstand you.
They may question your intentions.
Let them.

The Bhagavad Gita teaches us
to act with integrity, without becoming attached to the opinions, approval,
or reactions of others. Our responsibility
is our action, not carrying everyone else’s fear,doubt, or judgment.

Integrity doesn’t require applause.

When the mind tries to drag yesterday’s burdens across it, remember:

This is mine. That is not.

Today’s Yoga Nugget:
What You Bring to the Mat

Yoga is not just about what you practice.
It’s about who you are when you step onto the mat.

We all arrive carrying something, loneliness, excitement, grief, ambition, fatigue, or distraction. There’s nothing wrong with that. The question is:

What am I bringing to the mat today?

If we step onto the mat without first becoming aware of our inner state, we can carry that same unsettled energy into our practice, turning yoga into another place to strive, rush, or disconnect, rather than an opportunity to know ourselves more deeply.

The quality of our awareness shapes the quality of our practice.
The first pose is simply noticing.

The real question isn’t, How do I feel?
It’s, Who is feeling all of this?

Who am I beneath it all?

Burn to Become

There is a strange moment in growth
when the old version of you no longer fits…

but the new one doesn’t feel like you yet.

You are somewhere in between.
This is where most of us want to turn back.

The yogis called this inner fire Tapas.

It feels awkward. Unfamiliar. Uncomfortable.
You don’t quite recognize yourself yet, or know how to be this new version of you.

Maybe you haven’t lost yourself.
You’re just feeling the heat of change.

The Blind Spot

Imagine driving with a dirty windshield.
