No offense young ones; and I know this isn't all of you (read below), but my oldest son (against my advice) got a brand new car from his father when he turned 16. Just as it says below, it was junk in two years!
He explained his lack of any care and maintenance of the car by saying, "If my dad woulda let me pick out the car I wanted, I woulda taken care of it!"
Looking five-times its age,It looked like a heavily-partied-in country teenage boy's party venue; heavily dented on the top and sides from being rolled in ditches, and complete with re**er burns in the carpet, doors, seats and ceiling. Old trash left under the seats and on the floor consisted of empty rectangular cardboards that once held Zig-zag papers to roll and pass doobies while driving to Saturday detention at 7:00 a.m. on freezing mornings ( hence more ditch-rolls and carpet burns), thin paper wrappers from Mickey D's and Taco Bell full of half-eaten nasties crushed flat by his buddies sh*t-kickers, and blackish-gray hastily rubbed out roach burns decorate any empty space after flying out from startled fingers during ditch-hitting roll-overs, then rubbed out hastily with a left foot or a drizzle of Fanta. Obviously a popular party venue.
