Governor Ducey and DHS have announced options for limited visits for family members. Please see the two attachments for our policy and the attestation that will require a signature prior to visiting. As much as we look forward to seeing you again, please know that this is a step in the right direction but a very careful step. The task force will meet in 2 weeks and may change the guidance set forth. Everyone is trying to figure this out while keeping our residents and staff safe. Thank you for your support through these very challenging times.

We wanted to let everyone know that the protocols we have put into place for Paseo are working and keeping all our residents safe and healthy. We had to put a few more restrictions into place and wanted to share them with you. At this time, we will no longer be accepting outside food deliveries for residents or staff. Facility staff will not be permitted to do any outside shopping for residents and any items needed to be brought in for a resident, must be approved by the Executive Director or Wellness Director in advance. Thank you for allowing us to continue to care for your loved ones.

In order to protect our residents from COVID-19, we have restricted all visitors, outside vendors, and home health agencies from entering our community. All staff are being screened for illness and we are taking their temperatures taken prior to entering the facility. We have also implemented additional cleaning schedules. We continue to work on establishing ways for residents to communicate with their loved ones either by phone, Facetime, and DUO (an app that runs through our TVs). We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience. Take care of yourselves during this time and we will take care of your loved one. We appreciate your understanding and patience during the next few weeks.

We are so proud that three of our employees are award winners from this year's Arizona Health Care Association annual convention. Daniel, one of our front desk receptionists, won an award for Above and Beyond Service. Myrna won Assisted Living Caregiver of the Year and Janine, our Wellness Director, successfully completed the Executive Leadership Program.
