The first survivor of Alzheimer's may have already been born, but we won't get there without continued research into the causes of Alzheimer’s, its progression, new treatments and improved care and support for people living with dementia. 💜

EverTrue Home Health is celebrating a 2025 SHPBest™ "Superior Performer" recognition for patient experience, placing EverTrue among the top-performing home health organizations in the nation.

For Grace, staying at home isn't just about comfort. It's about independence.

With support from her caregiver, Sarah, Grace gets the help she needs with daily activities while continuing to live where she wants to be. From assistance with showers and dressing to safely navigating the stairs, Sarah helps make everyday life possible.

More than practical support, Grace says Sarah's cheerful attitude and friendship mean just as much. "Without her, I couldn't do this. I couldn't stay here," Grace said.

While staff-led activities are an important part of community life, some of the most meaningful experiences happen when residents take the lead. Whether it's starting a club or sharing a hobby, our residents help create the vibrant community they want to be part of.

Here are just a few examples of resident-led activities happening in our communities:

🪡 Sewing Inspirations Group at EverTrue Lutheran Hillside Village: Started by resident Sharon, this group brings together residents of all skill levels to sew, learn or reconnect with an old hobby, while creating handcrafted items for Assisted Living residents and Care Center clients.

🔔 Bell Choir at EverTrue Meridian Village: Led by resident Annis, the Bell Choir performs throughout the community for special occasions, becoming a beloved part of Meridian Village and adding to the musical offerings available to residents.

🎳 Kubb Club at EverTrue Lutheran Home at Topton: Residents Ulla and Plummer introduced the Swedish lawn game Kubb to the community more than a decade ago. It quickly became a favorite activity and tradition that continues to bring neighbors together for weekly outdoor fun and friendly competition.

🌻 Garden Club at EverTrue Meramec Bluffs: As one of the community's largest resident-led groups, the Garden Club empowers residents to plan projects, get creative and enhance the beauty of their community while enjoying time outdoors together.

At EverTrue, residents aren't just participants, because senior living isn't about passively sitting on the sidelines. It's about staying engaged, pursuing your interests and continuing to Live Life to the Fullest.

As the Jewish community celebrates Rosh Hashanah, we extend our wishes for a sweet New Year filled with peace, hope, good health and moments of connection. At EverTrue Lutheran Hillside Village, we are grateful for the many faith traditions represented within our community and for the opportunity to honor each person's spiritual journey.

This season of renewal reminds us of the promise of Scripture: “Do not remember the former things or consider the things of old. I am about to do a new thing…” (Isaiah 43:18-19)

👥 We serve approximately 16,500 individuals each year (~ 5,000 Life Plan Communities residents, ~ 1,000 Affordable Housing residents, ~ 9,000 individuals cared for by Anywhere Care).
🍽️ We serve 289,000 meals monthly.
🤝 EverTrue has 3,900 team members — And more than 200 team members have been with EverTrue longer than 15 years! 🏆
