Can you believe it’s already been two years since we expanded our On Spot Therapy and Orofacial Myology family to Perham, MN?!

From day one, our goal has been to provide speech-language therapy, and orofacial myofunctional therapy tailored to help individuals thrive. We have had the pleasure of serving 41 familes over the last year 💞 Watching our clients hit major milestones, building feeding confidence, and reach their communication goals has been an absolute highlight of this journey.

Hip, hip, hooray! 🎉 We are celebrating a big milestone today! This little gal graduated from feeding therapy right before her FIRST birthday! 🎈

This sweet girl learned to explore new foods, tolerate new textures, and build confidence during meal times.

Sometimes, you just need a little push to get you started ☀️ We are so incredibly proud of the quick progres she made! Here’s to celebrating every single little win! 🩵

Happy June! ☀️ As a speech therapist at On Spot Therapy, there truly is no better way to kick of summer than celebrating a major milestone for this sweet boy! Rhys officially graduated from speech therapy! 🎓

They say it takes a village, and this little rockstar truly had the most incredible team supporting him. To help him succeed, we worked with his team in craniosacral therapy, his dentist, his lactation consultant, and his wonderful parents. ✨

Together, we focused on the foundational building blocks of feeding and development. In our speech sessions, we worked hard on strengthening his oral motor skills, harmonizing his facial muscles, and mastering the coordination needed for successful feeding.

We are so proud of how far he has come. Cheers to a beautiful, happy summer ahead! ☀️ 🍼🤱🏽💛

Let's celebrate Darriean! Today marks her THIRD anniversary at On Spot Therapy! Darriean joined our Fargo team in 2023, and just 13 months later, she took the helm when we opened our Perham, MN clinic! Darriean quickly became well known for her high standard of care. Her dedication, expertise, and passion for supporting her clients and their families is truly remarkable. Those of you who know her will definitely agree!

✨ Transformation Thursday ✨

When we first met Finn at 9 months old, mealtimes were stressful. He struggled with gagging and vomiting, limiting his food intake which resulted in poor weight gain. 📉

Fast forward over a year later, and look at him now! 💪🏻

Over months of dedicated speech therapy focusing on desensitization, oral motor exercises, chewing skills, sensory exploration, and a lot of brave “try its,” he has completely transformed his relationship with food.

✅ No more gagging/vomiting
✅ Exploring new textures
✅ Eating table foods
✅ Enjoying the social aspect of family meals

Seeing him go from fear to eagerly trying everything on his plate is why we love pediatric feeding therapy ❤️

But the cherry on top?! 🍒 We also worked on his communication skills, and he is now using 2-3 word utterances to communicate his world 🌎

It’s been such a joy watching him reach new milestones and grow his skills. Keep shining buddy, we are so proud of you! ☀️

S-S-S-Success! 🎓✨

Huge congratulations to this young man for graduating from speech therapy! In less than a year, he mastered his articulation goals working on /s/ and /r/ sounds with complete dedication. These sounds can be complex to master with older kiddos, but hitting that goal in under a year is a major accomplishment that deserves some praise! It’s not easy to change a habit you’ve had for years but he made it look so easy. Way to go Jase! 👏🏻
