Our Spring Valley tenants enjoyed a special dinner and a show as dancers Adalynn and Jackson stopped by following the Showtime Studio recital to share their talents. Their energy, smiles, and impressive moves brought so much joy to everyone who gathered to watch!

A special thank you to PLH staff member Paige for bringing your kiddos to brighten our evening and create such a meaningful intergenerational moment. We loved every minute of it!

What a blessing to gather in song and praise our faithful God together. Our residents at King’s Gardens Campus enjoyed a wonderful visit from Janet Snell, who shared her gifts of music and guitar as voices joined together to sing Amazing Grace.

🌴 Vacation Bible School is coming to Perry! 🌴

Christ Lutheran Church and Perry Lutheran Homes invite your children to join us for Tropical Trek VBS — a fun-filled week of Bible stories, music, crafts, games, snacks, and friendship as kids learn how Jesus comes to seek and save us!

This month’s “Eats with Essie” was filled with wonderful stories, laughter, and sweet memories shared by residents Margaret and Sandra from King’s Gardens campus with PLH staffer Deb also joining in on the fun.

Margaret, who recently celebrated 100 years young, shared stories about growing up, raising her family, and welcoming neighborhood children into her home like her own little kiddos. She spoke warmly about having a wonderful life and childhood filled with love and joy. Sandy reminisced about her years as a hairstylist in Perry and the many hours she spent and enjoyed cheering on her grandchildren at their sporting events.

The ladies enjoyed a delicious lunch thanks to our wonderful King’s Gardens campus culinary team featuring croissant sandwiches, fresh fruit, chips, veggies, and pickled beets. And thanks to PLH staffer Essie for sharing the love and a meal with our residents each month!

We’ve been soaking up this beautiful weather while caring for God’s creations of flowers, vegetables, and fruits. What a blessing to have the Spring Valley Campus patio as a place to gather, garden, grill, relax, laugh, and enjoy fellowship among friends.

Carolyn especially enjoyed sharing stories about the flowers she lovingly cared for at her previous home.
