**OUTAGE UPDATE - 8:50pm**

Power should now be restored to all affected customers. The source of the issue was at the substation itself, which is unusual and took longer than normal to diagnose. The electric crew has implemented a temporary repair to get everyone back online, and will be working with OMPA to implement a permanent repair in the future. Anyone still without power should contact the after hours number at (580) 336-4100. Remember to leave a message with your name, address, and contact information if no one is available to answer.

Thank you again for your patience as the crew worked to identify and repair this challenging issue!

**OUTAGE UPDATE - 8:05pm**

The Electric Crew has been unable to trace the source of the outage, but is continuing to work toward restoration. We will update this post again as soon as we have additional information. Thank you again for your continued patience!

**OUTAGE ALERT**

The Electric Crew is aware of the outage and currently assessing the system to find the source of the issue. The outage seems to primarily be affecting residents on the north and east edges of town. If you are without power and also outside of that area, please all the After Hours phone at (580) 336-4100 to let them know your location. This will help the crew narrow down the source of the problem. If no one is available to answer the call, please be sure to leave a message with your name and address. Thank you for your patience as we work to resolve this outage.

**OUTAGE ALERT**

The electric crew is conducting maintenance and repairs on sections of the grid south east of town. The crew will work as quickly as safety allows to limit the outage to as short as possible. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Summer is in full bloom, and with school starting soon, now is the perfect time to trim back overgrown trees and vegetation.
Property owners are responsible for maintaining trees, shrubs, and other vegetation that extend beyond the property into streets, alleys, and easements adjacent to their property. Overgrown vegetation can create safety hazards by reducing visibility, damaging school buses, emergency vehicles, utility trucks, sanitation vehicles, delivery trucks, and other large vehicles. In some cases, low-hanging branches can even force larger vehicles into oncoming traffic to avoid obstacles.
To help keep Perry safe and accessible, please maintain a minimum clearance of 14 feet above streets and alleys by trimming back any overhanging vegetation.
If vegetation presents an immediate public safety hazard, City crews may trim or remove it. If you notice a hazardous situation, please contact City Hall at 580-336-4241 to request a work order for that location. Thank you for working together with us to help keep Perry's streets and alleys safe for everyone!
