🌟 Employee Spotlight: Amanda Reed, Wound Nurse 🌟

Amanda Reed has been part of the Aperion Care family for 15 years and has more than 20 years of experience in healthcare. She shares, “I love long-term care, I can’t imagine doing anything else! I have met some of my favorite people here, and am blessed to have a job that I enjoy going to daily!”

Known for her compassionate and approachable nature, Amanda has built wonderful relationships with both residents and staff. Residents appreciate her relaxed, caring demeanor, which makes it easy for them to talk with her and feel a genuine connection. Her colleagues value her eagerness to go above and beyond and often turn to her as their go-to person for advice and support.

Outside of work, Amanda enjoys traveling and spending time along the shores of Lake Michigan, where she loves searching for unique rocks and treasures on the beach. She has been married to her high school sweetheart for 28 years and is the proud mother of two children.

Thank you, Amanda, for your years of dedication and the positive impact you make every day! 🧡💙

We had a wonderful time celebrating Nursing Home Week based around this year's national theme "Moments in Bloom!" From dress up days and fun games to a delicious cookout and competitive kickball tournament, there was something fun for everyone! Lucky to have the greatest team and opportunity to care for such special residents. 🥰🌸

Tracy is so friendly and fun to talk to, and residents love stopping by to visit her. She enjoys helping them make a cup of coffee in the morning and always brings a warm, welcoming energy to the day.
