A great day on the course for an even greater cause!

Our Sports Medicine team had a fantastic time participating in the Kelbel Cup, supporting the Harbor Springs Athletic Department at The Moor at Boyne Highlands Resort.

Not only did we enjoy a beautiful day of golf, but we also brought plenty of energy to the course—earning recognition for Best Team Spirit and even taking home the prize for the Longest Drive!

We love supporting our local schools, student-athletes, and the communities we serve.

Here's to teamwork, community, and making a difference—both on and off the course! 💙💚

On today's episode of PT in Boyne, we introduce you to our local Tyler (Ty)!

Ty is here to due to a ACL injury.
Is that stopping him from enjoying summer and all the outdoor sports and activities?
Absolutely Not!
Ty comes in "Ready to Work Out".
He sees PT as a way to improve not only his ACL but more of an overall growth and strengthening.
He a kind soul and a happy "go getter" that wants to get everything he can from each and every PT Session.
So, what do we do? We put him to work and at times we jump in with him. (Jesse)
His strength and endurance are getting better, bringing him one step (or single leg squat) closer to freedom.

🐚 Patient Spotlight: Drew! 🧜‍♂️

Recovery is always better when you can have a little fun along the way!

Drew is working hard to recover from a right fibula fracture, and what better way to get those ankles moving than with a flip of a mermaid tail and a pair of 10-pound weights? 💪

In the spirit of Boyne City's Pirate Festival, our PT aide, Olivia, brought in her mermaid tails to dress up Mr. Bones—and Drew and fellow PT aide Blake didn't hesitate to jump in on the fun! Together, they proved that rehabilitation doesn't have to be boring.

Drew shared,
"I've been to five different physical therapy clinics, and this has been my favorite!"

We're thrilled to be part of Drew's recovery journey. Progress is being made one step at a time—with plenty of hard work, smiles, and laughter along the way! 💙

🌟 Patient Spotlight: Welcome Back, Pam! 🦄

Our Patient Spotlight is a returning patient... drumroll, please... Pam! 🥁

Pam recently returned to Northern Michigan Sports Medicine Centers for her left total knee replacement rehabilitation, after earlier this year completing therapy for her right knee replacement.

From day one, we called her our Unicorn because she cruised through physical therapy like it was a walk in the park. On her final visit after her first knee replacement, Pam wore unicorn socks and joked that she'd be back for her other knee because she had so much fun the first time around.

Well... she kept her promise!

Our Unicorn returned and absolutely conquered rehab for her left knee. Then, on her final day, she surprised the entire clinic by showing up dressed head-to-toe as the unicorn we've always known her to be!

Another knee replacement. Another successful recovery. Another reason we love what we do.

Pam, thank you for bringing your positive attitude, determination, and sense of humor to every visit. We loved having you back and would welcome you again in a heartbeat... or should we say, a hoofbeat! 🦄💙

Team Sports Med emerged victorious in a thrilling back-and-forth battle, outlasting a talented opponent 16–10 in a game that featured big hits, momentum swings, and relentless offense from both teams. In the end, Team Sports Med delivered the timely hits and key defensive plays needed to pull away and secure the win.
