Any Length Retreat Texas nonprofit rehab helping men overcome addiction and rebuild purpose, family, and connection.

Through mentorship, community, and participation in recovery, we support long-term recovery for men and healing for the families who love them. Any Length Retreat is a men's drug and alcohol rehab near Austin, in Pflugerville, Texas. We're not a traditional treatment center or alcoholism program. Every one of us on staff is a recovered addict or alcoholic, so we don't ask our men to do anything we haven't done ourselves. We share our real stories and teach practical skills for daily life. Our mission is to help families overcome the high cost of rehab, whether they're uninsured, underinsured, or had great insurance and still paid $20,000 to $30,000 for a traditional treatment center. Alumni and families gain access to our Lifetime Recovery Community for ongoing support.

9 · Attention Is Energy
“Where you place your attention is where you place your energy.” — Dr. Joe Dispenza

SEE THE GOOD TODAY
Our attention is not free. Wherever it lands, our energy goes with it. Spend the morning replaying a resentment and that is where our fuel is burned. Give the same minutes to what is good and true, and our energy gathers there instead. We only have so much to spend. Attention is how we choose where it goes.

REFLECT
Where did most of my energy actually go yesterday? Was it spent on what I want to grow, or on what I want to leave behind?

PRAYER
Good, my energy follows my attention. Help me spend it where You are.

ASK TODAY
What is one drain I could stop feeding today, and what worth growing could I hand that energy to instead?

8 · Where I Look, I Go
“You focus on the Light, you become the Light.” — Joe M.

SEE THE GOOD TODAY
Last week we practiced seeing that the Good is already here. This week we notice something more. Attention is not passive. It has a direction. Wherever we fix our gaze, we slowly move. Stare at the wound and we drift toward it. Look for the Good and we begin to walk toward the Good. Where we look, we go.

REFLECT
What have I been looking at most lately, and where is it taking me? If I moved toward whatever I keep my eyes on, where would this week lead me?

PRAYER
Good, You are the Light. Turn my face toward You so I move toward You today.

ASK TODAY
What is one thing I keep looking at that pulls me the wrong way, and could I turn my eyes toward the Good instead this morning?

7 · The Good Is Always Present
“Praise to the highest is the swiftest way to overcome.” — Emma Curtis Hopkins

SEE THE GOOD TODAY
This is the truth the whole week has been circling. The Good is always present. It was here in the ordinary, in the struggle, in one another, in us. It was never absent. We were simply untrained. Seeing the Good is not a mood that comes and goes. It is a muscle we build, one morning at a time.

REFLECT
Where did I catch the Good this week that I would have missed a month ago? What does it cost me when I forget that the Good is always here?

PRAYER
Good, thank You for a week of seeing. Make this a practice in me, not just a moment.

ASK TODAY
If the Good is always present, what would it take for me to look for it first thing every day, until looking for the Good is simply who I am?

6 · The Good In Myself Today
“The best way to predict your future is to create it.” — Dr. Joe Dispenza

SEE THE GOOD TODAY
Many of us can find the Good everywhere except in the mirror. We were trained to tear ourselves down. But the same Good we are learning to see in the world is already in us. Not the person we used to be. The person we are becoming today, one honest choice at a time.

REFLECT
What is one Good thing that is true about who I am today? When did I last speak to myself the way I would speak to a brother I loved?

PRAYER
Good, help me see the Good You have already placed in me. Let me stop tearing down what You are building.

ASK TODAY
What is one Good thing I could honestly say about myself today, and am I willing to say it out loud instead of waving it off?

5 · The Good In One Another
“Listen for the Good in one another.” — Robert W.

SEE THE GOOD TODAY
It is easy to catalog what is wrong with the people around us. We are experts at it. Seeing the Good in another person is a discipline, not a feeling. When we listen for the Good in a brother, we begin to call it out of him, and out of ourselves at the same time.

REFLECT
Who have I been seeing only through their faults? If I looked for the Good in them today, what might I find that I have been missing?

PRAYER
Good, let me see the people around me the way You see them. Help me find the Good in someone I had written off.

ASK TODAY
Who is one person I could tell today, out loud, the Good I see in them, and how might that change the room?

4 · The Good In The Struggle
“We will not regret the past nor wish to shut the door on it.” — Alcoholics Anonymous, p. 83

SEE THE GOOD TODAY
This is the hardest place to look and the most important. The bottom that broke us is the same bottom that brought us here. The wreckage taught us what nothing else could. We do not have to be grateful for the pain itself, but we can begin to see the Good that came out of it.

REFLECT
What Good has come from my worst chapter? Would I know what I know now without it? What door am I still trying to shut that the Good actually came through?

PRAYER
Good, I could not see You in the dark. Show me now what You were building while I suffered.

ASK TODAY
What is one hard thing from my past I could begin to call a strange gift, and what would it free in me to stop regretting it?

3 · The Good In The Ordinary
“Never focus on the darkness. Always focus on the Light.” — Joe M.

SEE THE GOOD TODAY
We keep waiting for the Good to arrive as something big. It almost never does. The Good is usually small and quiet. Hot coffee. A truck that starts. A text answered. A body that carries us through the day. The ordinary is where the Good actually lives, if we slow down enough to notice.

REFLECT
What small, ordinary Good did I rush past yesterday? When did I last thank the Good for something I usually take for granted?

PRAYER
Good, slow me down today. Let me notice You in the small things I keep overlooking.

ASK TODAY
What are three ordinary things in the next hour I could name as Good, and what happens in me when I do?

“Life is a mirror and will reflect back to the thinker what he thinks into it.” — Ernest Holmes

SEE THE GOOD TODAY
Addiction trained us for years to scan for what is wrong, what is missing, what is broken. That habit did not leave the day we got sober. Recovery is the slow retraining of the eye, learning to see purpose, opportunity, connection, and growth where we used to see only lack.

REFLECT
What am I more practiced at noticing first, the problem or the possibility? If my mind reflects back whatever I feed it, what have I been feeding it lately?

PRAYER
Good, retrain my eyes. Where I have practiced seeing lack, teach me to see You.

ASK TODAY
What is one situation I have already labeled bad, and what would shift if I asked, where is the Good hiding in this?

1 · The Good Is Already Here
“The Good is always present. We simply train our minds to recognize it.” — Robert W.

SEE THE GOOD TODAY
The Good is not something we have to manufacture or earn. It is already here, in this ordinary morning. The first breath. The light on the wall. The fact that we woke up with another chance. Nothing has to change for the Good to be present. Only our seeing.

REFLECT
Where was the Good yesterday that I walked right past? What was I looking at instead? If the Good is always here, what has trained me not to see it?

PRAYER
Good, open my eyes this morning. Let me see You in what is already in front of me.

ASK TODAY
What is one ordinary thing today I could stop and call Good out loud, and who might I become if I looked for the Good every morning?
