CNA Week at Bridgeway has been full of energy and well deserved fun 🎉

From Colorful Day and Disney Day, complete with themed snack baskets and trivia for prizes, to Western Day and our always entertaining Tacky Day, our team showed up and showed out all week long.

From fear to fierce independence in just 32 days.

When Sherry Jones arrived at Bridgeway, she needed maximum assistance for even the most basic movements. Transfers and daily activities required full support, and the road ahead felt overwhelming.

But Sherry made a decision: she wasn’t staying there.

With the encouragement and expertise of her care team, she got to work. Physical Therapists Shereda and Miles helped her rebuild strength and confidence step by step, turning fear into determination. Occupational Therapists Andrea and Bri focused on restoring her independence, helping her regain the ability to take care of herself.

And the results speak for themselves.

By discharge, Sherry was:
• Independent with bed mobility
• Completing transfers with only touch assistance
• Independent with upper body ADLs and requiring minimal help with lower body tasks
• Walking over 100 feet with a rolling walker and little assistance

After achieving 90% of her goals, Sherry returned home stronger, more confident, and proud of everything she accomplished.

In her own words:
“I was so scared when I got here. But the encouragement and help I received made all the difference. I’m so proud of the progress I’ve made.”

Yesterday was a day we will never forget.

Our team had the incredible honor of attending the Atlanta Braves game, where our very own Director of Nursing, April, who has ALS, threw out the first pitch in recognition of Lou Gehrig Day. A truly inspiring moment that meant so much to all of us.

We proudly wore our custom jerseys featuring the ALS ribbon and "Strike Out for April" to stand beside her, showing our love, support, and strength as one team.

April, your courage inspires us every single day. We are so proud to stand with you!
