👁️ Have you ever noticed small spots, strings, or “cobweb-like” shapes floating across your vision? Those are called eye floaters.
Floaters are very common and are usually caused by tiny clumps inside the gel of the eye casting shadows on the retina. While many floaters are harmless, a sudden increase in floaters, flashes of light, or a curtain-like shadow in your vision can be signs of a more serious eye condition and should be checked right away. ⚠️
If you’ve been experiencing changes in your vision or noticing new floaters, don’t ignore them. Schedule an eye exam with Johnson Eye Center and let us help protect your eye health and vision! 👓✨
