Time for our final research fellow introduction! (am I the only one feeling nose-talgic?) Nolan Chiles

Hi everyone! I’m Nolan Chiles, one of this year’s rhinology research fellows. I’m also a rising MS4 at Jefferson. I grew up in Syracuse, NY, and I attended Fordham University, where I ran cross-country and track, and earned degrees in neuroscience and religious studies.

When I’m not thinking about noses (rare), I’m either inventing recipes only I find palatable, running harder than medically advisable, or working on my personal thesis, “Do My Cats Have Multiple Thoughts Per Day? A Case Study”

After college, I moved to Chicago and worked as a trauma tech at the University of Chicago before starting medical school.

Outside of the hospital, I enjoy running, skiing, playing padel, backpacking, and trying out new recipes at home!
