There is so much happening in the beginning. 🤍

Feeding. Sleeping. Growing. Connecting. Learning your baby’s cues. Figuring out what they need — and figuring out who you are as their parent along the way.

Introducing B.well Beginnings 🌿

A supportive group for babies + their caregivers designed to help you better understand your baby from the very start.

Together, we’ll talk about:
🍼 Breastfeeding, bottle feeding, pumping, formula + feeding development
🤍 Attachment, connection + co-regulation
🌿 Infant temperament + understanding your baby’s unique cues
🧠 Early brain + nervous system development
✨ Motor, sensory + developmental milestones
👶 Reflexes, regulation + the foundations that support development
💬 And all of those “Is this normal?” questions that come up along the way

Led by B.well’s lactation team with monthly therapist guest speakers, this is a space to learn, ask questions, connect with other parents, and feel more confident understanding the little human in front of you.

Because babies don’t come with instruction manuals, but understanding how they’re wired can make the beginning feel a whole lot easier. 🤍

Resilience isn’t about never getting dysregulated.

It’s about how efficiently we recover. 💫

Our nervous system is constantly asking:
✨ Am I safe?
✨ Can I come back from this?
✨ Can I keep moving forward?

When we get stuck replaying stress, frustration, or fear, our brains strengthen those pathways. Every time we regulate, reconnect, and recover, we’re strengthening different ones.
This is why I love supporting the nervous system from multiple angles. Low-level laser therapy (photobiomodulation) can help support healthy brain and nervous system function—including areas like the prefrontal cortex and vagal pathways—when used alongside therapeutic approaches that actively build regulation skills.

But you don’t need a laser at home to begin building resilience.

🩵 Take one slow, intentional breath.
🩵 Step outside for a walk.
🩵 Take a warm shower with the lights dimmed.
🩵 Listen to calming music.
🩵 Pause before reacting.
🩵 Let your body experience safety again.

These aren’t “small” things. They’re opportunities for your nervous system to recover, and every recovery expands your capacity.

The same is true for our children.
Building nervous system capacity starts in infancy. It’s helping a baby find calm in a challenging position, breathing together through frustration, supporting a toddler as they work through a tricky toy instead of immediately fixing it, and repairing together after hard moments.
Our children aren’t learning that life is stress-free.

They’re learning that stress is something they can move through.

The nervous system that recovers is the nervous system that becomes more resilient. And when we model that recovery ourselves, we’re teaching our children one of the most valuable skills they’ll carry for life.

“Chonky baby necks” aren’t just about the rolls. 👀
That redness, irritation, and skin breakdown can be a sign your baby is holding tension through their neck and body.

When babies can’t comfortably turn or extend their neck fully, moisture and friction build up in those folds — but the bigger issue is what that tension can affect next:
✨ head shape
✨ tongue mobility
✨ feeding
✨ airway development

A baby’s body works as one connected system.
Full neck mobility matters for so much more than comfort. 🤍

If your little one always prefers one side, struggles with feeding, hates tummy time, or has persistent neck redness… it’s worth looking deeper.

Comment “support” if you’re looking for guidance on how to help your baby not have a stinky cheese neck 🫶

OP: — adorable baby! As always, this is not medical advice. Please take what serves you and leave the rest. Xxo
