It is still real pain, and/but, according to studies cited here, approximately 85 percent of back pain and 78 percent of headaches don’t have an identifiable (structural) trigger. Typically, medical treatment separates the mind and brain from the body. More and more evidence suggests that this makes absolutely no sense. Lots of good articles in this series for anyone dealing with chronic pain.
