I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: precluding women over a certain BMI from accessing IVF (whether it’s ”because” “outcomes are worse” or ”because” “their clinic is not capable of administering anesthesia to clients over a certain weight/BMI”) is discrimination.

Thankfully there’s more media outlets covering this BS.

Despite the lack of medical evidence for doing so, fertility clinics bar women over a certain BMI from their services. One writer makes the case such limits are unfair and unscientific.

As Beeler pointed out, they will provide alternate data just like industries do when they dispute the validity of climate science. Hocevar added that plastic companies also have an advantage because plastics are so pervasive that "it is difficult to design controls where plastic can be excluded as a factor. The plastic industry uses this terrible situation to try to claim that we don't have enough evidence to be sure that these chemicals are dangerous."

We get to reclaim our power...we get to make a radical act of resistance...when we decide to commit to nourishing ourselves. Really, truly nourishing ourselves.⁣

Challenge accepted. This is the me that my daughter sees- she took this picture 😍. I like that me that she sees (now at least).⁣

Before her, I thought I had been found. But our being together helped unearth all of those tender, precious places that were buried beneath the stone. (That’s a sweet little metaphor for the cataclysmic, volcanic, and oftentimes downright ugly re-birthing I had of my own inner child who was squashed... thank you, Mina, for birthing her back to me💗)⁣

I CAN be wholeheartedly, unabashedly loving. I CAN be filled to the brim with joy and love. I CAN feel safe loving to the fullest extent of my being. ⁣
⁣
And it is my prayer that she will feel that too, and maybe it won’t take her having a baby to feel that. (That is my prayer for YOU, too.) May she receive that gift through her daddy and I and the other angels that I am hoping will adorn her path throughout life.

May she receive from us an easeful path to empowerment, joy, self-love, unbridled creativity and self-expression, deep empathy, freedom, liberation, purpose, and service to her communities, our mama earth, the animals, those who need it...great spirit. ⁣

J O Y!! It’s been awhile. Lots to process... More on that soon. But amidst the chaos, today I am celebrating my Fertility Formula Coaching Client’s pregnancy!!!!!! ⁣

It’s funny what we do to ourselves. I’d written her emails checking in hadn’t heard back in a couple months, wondering and analyzing myself like “What did I do wrong? I must have hit a nerve or missed the mark with her”. ⁣
⁣
And it turns out she just wanted to let me know she was pregnant when she felt safe to, given her herstory. 🌹⁣
⁣
Today I am celebrating and THIS is how happy I am for her! And I know YOU can do this too! She took advantage of Covid-19 giving her the space she needed to stop the rushing here and there and busy-ness. ⁣

Get slow- your fertility will blossom when you do. 🐢 ⁣

Couldn’t not post this beautiful bounty from this week! Fresh chamomile!!!! Chamomile!!! Ahhh!!!! ⁣

Eating healthy is so easy with a cooperative farm share! Co-ops source fresh, usually organic produce locally (which means within a 200 mile radius). ⁣
⁣
You support regional independent, small farms (which is an act of justice), you eat the healthiest you can because you are eating seasonally- how nature intended, and you get to be challenged to cook with things you never used before!⁣
⁣
We are so happy with our csa! We split a large one with our neighbors- thanks for inviting us guys! We are so grateful 🙏🏽 💗
