Let's be real: STIs don't exactly come up at the dinner table. And thanks to years of awkward health class videos and whispered conversations, a lot of folks are walking around with more misinformation than actual facts. And we're here to fix that.

No judgment, no scare tactics. Just the real stuff.

Most people with STIs have zero symptoms. Zero.

Say it with me: the most common STI symptom is no symptom at all.

You cannot tell if someone has an STI by looking at them. You cannot tell by how they look, how long you've been with them, or whether everything looks "normal." The only way to know your status is to get tested.

Some STIs, like chlamydia and gonorrhea, are often completely silent especially in people with uteruses. Others, like herpes or HPV, can be present in your body for years before you notice anything (if you ever do).

This is why regular testing is so important, not because something went wrong, but because it's just part of taking care of yourself.

Most STIs are curable. All of them are treatable.

For most STIs, testing is as simple as peeing in a cup or a quick swab. A blood draw may be needed for HIV, syphilis, or hepatitis. A visual exam might happen if you have visible symptoms. That's it. Most visits take under 30 minutes.

Don't wait until something feels wrong. That's the whole point, most of the time, nothing will feel wrong.

Getting an STI is a health event, not a moral failing.

We know repro. And now you know too!

Crisis pregnancy centers (also called CPCs or "fake clinics") are clinics or mobile vans that look like real health centers, but they're run by anti-abortion activists who have a shady, harmful agenda: to scare, shame, or pressure you out of getting an abortion, and to tell lies about abortion, birt...

Four years ago today, Roe v. Wade was overturned and we lost the federal right to abortion.

Planned Parenthood health centers have been here every day since – and we’re not going anywhere.

🚨ICYMI: Mifepristone is safe. Mifepristone is effective.
We know it, the FDA knows it, and the more than 7.5M people who’ve used mifepristone for abortion and miscarriage care over the past 25 years know it too.
