Emma was diagnosed with rhabdomyosarcoma in 2007 after a lump the size of a golf ball appeared on her head. Her family turned to our Center for care and entered various clinical trials for treatment. Today, she's in remission and has come full circle, working at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia as a clinical research assistant supporting kids with ADHD.

Did you know we have a Food Pharmacy? Currently in its pilot phase, we’re proud to share that our Food Pharmacy provides access to nutritious food for families within the first three months of their oncology diagnosis while undergoing active treatment. We understand that proper nutrition is essential to healing, and no family should have to choose between groceries and medical care.

Our Center’s goal is to expand access to serve more families in the community and addressing not just medical needs, but the fundamental blocks of health and well-being.

We’d like to thank everyone who has made this program possible and to the families who have trusted our Center during their treatment journey.

Is your family affected by synovial sarcoma? The Synovial Sarcoma Foundation Tumor Board will be convening virtually this Thursday. 🩺

Hosted by our Center, Penn Medicine, and the Synovial Sarcoma Foundation, this multidisciplinary forum brings together medical professionals from around the world to discuss complex synovial sarcoma cases in both children and adults.

While the Tumor Board is open to medical professionals only, patients and families are encouraged to ask their oncologist or care team to join and present their case.

Some of our caregivers connected and shared a special night at our latest M.E.N.S. event, cheering on the Philadelphia 76ers together! M.E.N.S. (Men Engaging in Networking and Support) brings together fathers and male caregivers supporting patients receiving treatment at our Center.
