Today is a special . We honor the founding principal investigator of the National Transplant Pregnancy Registry (NTPR), Vincent T. Armenti, MD, PhD (1952-2014) by continuing his vision. Dr. Armenti was a gifted transplant surgeon, medical researcher, educator, and musician. Now over 35 years later, the Transplant Pregnancy Registry International (TPRI) continues to study parenthood after solid organ transplant, providing important information to recipients and healthcare professionals in the transplant and women’s health communities.
