Men's Center for Growth and Change

Men's Center for Growth and Change The Men's Center for Growth & Change encourages men to use their power to better the lives of others, Gerald B.

The Men’s Resource Center was founded in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1979 to provide counseling services for men going through transitions. Evans, the founder, was the first person in the Philadelphia area to develop a program dealing with the issues men face. Since the founding, the Center and Evans have helped thousands of men develop successful, satisfying relationships. In 2015 with Evan's r

etirement, co-directors Dr. Robert Heasley and Brother Robb Carter, working with a diverse group of providers and allies, are reinventing the Center.

📚 International Literacy Day
Words have power. Reading can help us learn, connect, understand our experiences, and remind us that we’re not alone.
📖 Book recommendation: The Book of Delights by Ross Gay — a beautiful collection of essays that invites us to slow down, notice the small joys around us, and reconnect with everyday life.
Today, let’s celebrate the power of reading, reflection, and being heard. 💛

Today, we honor the women who have paved the way, support those continuing the journey, and reaffirm our commitment to a more equitable and compassionate world.

Women balance multiple roles and responsibilities while navigating unique life experiences and challenges. Prioritizing mental health isn't a luxury—it's an essential part of overall well-being.

Let's continue to advocate for a future where every woman feels empowered to seek support without stigma, where mental health resources are accessible, and where every voice is heard, valued, and respected.

💚 Your mental health matters. Your voice matters. You matter.

Humanitarian work extends beyond providing food, shelter, and medical care. It also means recognizing that emotional well-being is a fundamental part of healing. Whether responding to conflict, natural disasters, displacement, or everyday hardships, mental health support helps individuals and communities recover, rebuild, and find hope.

Today, let's celebrate the caregivers, counselors, first responders, volunteers, and advocates who remind us that compassion is one of humanity's greatest strengths.

Together, we can create a world where seeking help is met with understanding, kindness, and support.

💚 Every act of compassion—big or small—has the power to make a difference.

📚💚 A great book can do more than entertain—it can help us better understand ourselves, build resilience, and remind us that we're not alone.

Reading can be a wonderful tool for self-reflection and personal growth, but it isn't a substitute for professional mental health care. If you're struggling, reaching out for support is a courageous step.

Here’s a thoughtful read we love 📖 Set Boundaries, Find Peace by Nedra Tawwab

What's one book that's positively impacted your mental health? Share your recommendations in the comments—we'd love to grow our reading list together. 💙

Today we celebrate the strength, creativity, and resilience of young people around the world. 💙

Every young person deserves to feel heard, valued, and supported. Whether it's through open conversations, access to mental health resources, or simply reminding them that it's okay to ask for help, we all have a role to play in creating a healthier future.

Let's empower young people by listening without judgment, encouraging self-care, and fostering environments where they can thrive. Because when we invest in youth mental health, we invest in stronger communities for generations to come.
💚 If you know a young person who may be struggling, remind them they don't have to face it alone. Help is available, and reaching out is a sign of strength.
