Free Urban Foraging Walk at Washington Ave Green! 🌿
Before development begins on Wharton Piers, join me for a morning walk exploring the edible and medicinal trees, plants, and wild riparian delights along the pier.
📍 Location: Washington Ave Green (Where S. Christopher Columbus Blvd & Washington Ave meet).

Meet at the paved path start by the Coast Guard Station.
🗓 Details: 10 AM | Rain or shine! ⚡️ (Only cancelled for extreme lightning)

⏱ Duration: 90 mins – 2 hours (Flat terrain, stop-and-start standing walk)

🍂 What we’ll spot: Rosehips, acorns, mugwort, burdock & juniper berries!

🚗 Parking: Park in the Dunkin’ Donuts shopping center lot across the street. DO NOT park in the Sheet Metal Workers or Credit Union lots—you will get locked in!

⚠️ Important Notes:
• NO DOGS: The slow, stop-and-start pace isn’t pet-friendly.
• Adults/Teens recommended: Dense plant info, medicinal uses, science, and folklore requires a long attention span-more than wee ones can usually handle!
