¡Dame una! 🔄💃🕺 Cuban Rueda de Casino is coming to Bridges to Our Roots!

We are thrilled to welcome , who share the Cuban tradition of Rueda de Casino, a social dance where couples move together in a circle, respond to calls, and change partners as the music plays. No one dances alone.

Rueda is all about movement, connection, and community, the same values that guide Puentes de Salud as a bridge to health and belonging for Philadelphia’s Latine immigrant families.

Come watch the circle come alive! Your $75 ticket also includes tastings from seven Latin American restaurants and drinks on the rooftop, and it directly supports our community.

Meet Gisselle Poveda, founder of Café Tinto, our next stop in our Bridges to Our Roots video series!

For Gisselle, Café Tinto has always been more than a coffee shop and bakery. It’s a puente, a bridge to better healthcare and resources for our Latin American community. On October 12, she’s bringing a basket full of Café Tinto’s finger-food stars: tequeños, pan de queso, pan de bono, so guests can taste (and reminisce) the flavors of Colombia and South America.

“This event organized by Puentes de Salud is here to strengthen us all,” Gisselle says, and we couldn’t agree more.
