Durante la sessione mattutina, SHRO e NIAF presenteranno One Health – An Italian-American Scientific Forum: Shaping the Future of Medicine.

🇺🇸 Breast Cancer Awareness Month 🎀

Recent data confirm the value of prevention and early diagnosis: when breast cancer is detected at the localized stage, the 5-year survival rate exceeds 99%. In the United States, the overall 5-year relative survival rate for breast cancer is 92%, but for localized (early-stage) disease it reaches over 99%. Regular screening and attention to one’s body remain fundamental tools for detecting the disease in its earliest stages, when the chances of cure are highest.

SHRO invests in translational research projects that integrate laboratory and clinical work, with the goal of developing biomarkers for early diagnosis, targeted therapies, and personalized approaches. So that every scientific advancement can become a real opportunity for care.

This Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we reaffirm our commitment: to work with rigor, transparency, and collaboration to bring research ever closer to people.
