We are proud to announce Mr. James as our Resident of the Month!

Mr. James was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA. He graduated from Northern Nash High School and later attended St. Augustine College, where he studied Business Administration.

His love for the outdoors led him to become a certified Tree Doctor, working for the City of Philadelphia. In his spare time, he also started his own business.

Mr. James is one of four children, with two brothers and one sister. He is the proud father of three children, including twin sons and one daughter, and is also a loving grandfather to two granddaughters.

Mr. James enjoys fishing, hunting, cooking, playing cards, and chess.

On the 25th anniversary of September 11, Laurel Square Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center joins the nation in solemn remembrance.

We honor those whose lives were taken too soon, the first responders and everyday heroes who showed extraordinary bravery, and the families who have carried the memory of that day for a quarter century.

May we continue to remember the compassion, courage and unity that followed one of our nation’s darkest days.

🎉 Let's celebrate our Resident of the Month, Gwendolyn!

Resident of the Month: Gwendolyn C.

It is with great honor that we present our Resident of the Month, Ms. Gwendolyn Campbell. Ms. Campbell was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA. She attended Thomas Dunlap Elementary School and also attended Dobbins High School where she obtained her diploma. After high school, she took several courses at La Salle University and Community College.

Ms. Campbell worked for the Federal Government for 22 years and also the City of Philadelphia for seven years. On her jobs she traveled to Saint Petersburg, Georgia, Tennessee, Chicago, Florida and Washington, DC, and to six African countries. Ms. Campbell also worked for the radio station WDAS.

Ms. Campbell has three children, though one of which has passed away, a host of grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Now she resides here at Laurel Square where she enjoys reading, puzzles and living a quiet, peaceful life. It is an honor to name Ms. Campbell as our Resident of the Month.
