What a wonderful weekend with the ACMA Maryland Chapter Chapter! 💙

The celebration began with White Sands & Sunsets at Pinstripes in Rockville, where the joy, energy, and sense of community were truly palpable. It was the perfect way to gather, reconnect, and usher in an exciting day of conferencing, education, and meaningful conversations.

The following day, the 24th Annual ACMA Maryland Chapter Conference welcomed a record-breaking 350+ attendees from across the State of Maryland, along with more than 60 exhibitors. Throughout the day, case management professionals came together to learn, share ideas, build relationships, and connect with colleagues who are all committed to making a difference in the lives of those they serve.

For Flying Angels, every conversation was meaningful. It was wonderful to reconnect with longtime case management friends from “The Old Line State” while also having the opportunity to make new friends and connections. Those relationships are truly what make these conferences so special.

The ACMA Maryland Chapter continues to set a gold standard. The tremendous amount of planning, dedication, and hard work behind this event did not go unnoticed or unfelt. A heartfelt thank-you to the chapter leadership team and American Case Management Association (ACMA) national staff who devoted countless hours to making this annual conference a tremendous success.

We are grateful to have been part of such a special event and look forward to seeing everyone again next year!

At Flying Angels, “angel” isn’t simply part of our name ~ it’s who we strive to be, every single day.

Today, on National Be An Angel Day, we celebrate our extraordinary flight nurses who bring that meaning to life.

They do far more than provide medical care. They bring comfort when there is uncertainty, calm when there is fear, and compassion when someone is at their most vulnerable. They travel thousands of miles (worldwide), care for patients as if they were family, and become a steady presence during some of life’s most difficult moments.

Whether reuniting a patient with loved ones, helping someone safely return home, ensuring continuity of care, or simply holding a hand and offering reassurance when it is needed most, our Flying Angels show us what it truly means to be an angel.

We are incredibly grateful for the dedication, skill, compassion, and heart they bring to every flight.

To our Flying Angels team: thank you for being the angels you are ~ not just today, but every day.

And to everyone reading this, remember: being an angel doesn’t always require something extraordinary. Sometimes, it’s a kind word. A helping hand. A moment of patience. A phone call. Or simply showing up when someone needs you most.

You never know whose life you might touch.

A Heartfelt Thank You!

Flying Angels was so grateful for the opportunity to exhibit at the 11th Annual Society of Certified Senior Advisors (SCSA) Conference in Westminster, Colorado.

It was truly a pleasure to reconnect with so many familiar faces and to meet new colleagues who share our passion for serving seniors and their families. The conversations, connections, and relationships made this conference especially meaningful to us.

Thank you to the SCSA team and everyone who stopped by to visit, share a conversation, and connect with us. We are honored to be part of this wonderful community and look forward to staying connected long after the conference.

Care Takes Flight in Westminster, CO!

We’re excited to be in beautiful Colorado this week for the 11th Annual Society of Certified Senior Advisors (CSA) Conference!

At Flying Angels, we’re passionate about helping older adults and individuals with medical or mobility challenges travel safely, comfortably, and with dignity.

One of the best parts of this conference is connecting with so many familiar faces while also meeting new CSA professionals who share our commitment to helping seniors and their families navigate life’s transitions with confidence.

Special notice for all attending: Bob Bacheler is presenting an informative session on an increasingly important topic:

“Soaring with Ease: Making Airline Travel Accessible for Seniors and Disabled Passengers”. Join us tomorrow, Saturday, August 15, 2026 at 10:45 AM.

Bob will share practical, timely guidance on safely and compassionately coordinating commercial air travel for older adults and passengers with medical or mobility challenges, including considerations that can make all the difference in creating a successful travel experience.

Connect. Engage. Inspire. Stronger Together!

These words, proudly displayed on the ACMA Oregon Chapter's social media placard, perfectly captured the spirit of Saturday’s conference.

Bringing together men and women from across Oregon, the day felt less like a conference and more like a family gathering filled with connection, laughter, learning and genuine pride as everyone celebrated the chapter’s 10th Anniversary.

One of the highlights was having Greg Cunningham, ACMA President & CEO, kick off the day with an inspiring message. Having built the American Case Management Association (ACMA), it was especially meaningful to see Greg celebrating this incredible milestone with the Oregon Chapter.

The education was exceptional, but it was the people and the connections that made the day so memorable.
