Charles Trimarco, age 87, passed away at home on May 29th, 2026. He is survived by his wife, Jacqueline, brother, William and one nephew. Graveside services with military honors will be held North Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Many families are affected by addiction. It fractures friendships, parental bonds, familial ties and those afflicted. We held a funeral for a girl that had a beautiful soul and bared her addiction to millions online. People knew who she was and followed her daily struggles through social media. The departed didn't hide who she was....she showed the dark side of a terrible situation (that millions of people are in) while showing her beauty and kindness as a human being. Her sister and mother eulogized her honorably, and with transparency and raw emotion. As I was looking at the photos during the memorial, I saw a picture of the departed in front of the steps at St. Timothy Catholic Church...it was her first communion. This girl could have been anyone of the many people that we grew up with, walked past on the street, or shared a community with. The courage of the beloved departed, through the sharing of her struggles, just may have saved countless others from the same fate that she endured. I did not know her, but I'm incredibly impressed by the memory of who she represents and am proud that we handled her services.

Many people gathered in St. Timothy Church today to support a family that is loved. They have been through a lot in the last year and today they had to have a funeral for their beloved brother, who passed away, unexpectedly. It was a nice crowd, with very nice people and it was an honorable day. Funerals are not just for the deceased....yes, they are the primary focus, yet folks want to support entire families during a time of loss. People want to be there for you...especially if you have a reputation as a wonderful, faithful and kind family. These people checked all boxes....as did the departed. I've said it many times in the past and forgive me for being so redundant...but our neighborhood was full of good people and great families that made our time special. Today's life celebration was another shining example of why. He was laid to rest in the family plot in Resurrection Cemetery.

A small intimate gathering of family helped lay their brother to rest today at St. Dominic Cemetery. He was Oblate educated, at North Catholic HS, and a lifelong Philadelphian. It was only fitting that an Oblate prayed over his grave along with his loved ones before his urn was placed with his beloved parents who passed away years ago. Small funerals are beautiful, no pomp and circumstance....just celebrating the life of a man they called brother, quietly, with dignity.
