Hi there, friends.
I’ve been very quiet the past few months, as they have been emotionally taxing.
However, as we head into camp season (and I’m late posting), there are still things you can do to protect your children:

💚 Meet with the program director.
💚 Meet with anyone and everyone responsible for your children.
💚 Always advocate for them.
💚 Call and ask for status updates.
💚 Most importantly, if water is involved, ensure that life-saving devices are worn while in the water.

Simply put, these are life-saving measures, and no one should lose a child while they are having fun.

If you have other suggestions, please share them in the comments so we can keep our babies safe and alive.

So let’s get a little personal. I told Mikey not to touch my work notebook, and—well, in Mikey fashion—he did anyway. Neurodivergence shows up in so many different ways, and stumbling across this both broke my heart and cracked it open. 💚
