I am passionate about minimally invasive surgery employing novel techniques to improve visualization and maximize outcomes. I have pioneered novel endoscopic techniques for trigeminal neuralgia, hemifacial spasm as well as tumor resection through nose and behind the ear. I have also pioneered novel techniques for fluorescent guided tumor visualization.

All I really want are sharp scissors. It ain’t brain surgery.

With three days of rain on Memorial Day weekend I took the opportunity to sharpen the chain on my chainsaw. It reminds me of my biggest complaint in the operating room which is when my fine micro scissors are dull.
