At the Temple University Child and Adolescent Anxiety Disorders Clinic (CAADC), we provide evidence-based services for children and teens with anxiety using a cognitive-behavioral therapy approach. We follow a manual-based program called "Coping Cat" for kids and the "C.A.T. Project" for teens, which typically includes weekly sessions with our clinicians across 16 weeks of treatment.
The program focuses on four components: (1) recognizing emotional and physical reactions to anxiety; (2) clarifying thoughts and feelings in anxiety-provoking situations; (3) developing plans for effective coping; and (4) evaluating performance and giving self-reinforcement.
See our contact page for more information if you believe your child could benefit from our services!
