Today, as we begin National Hispanic Heritage Month, we celebrate the cultures, traditions, achievements, and contributions of Hispanic and Latino communities that enrich and strengthen our nation every day.

At Delaware Valley Community Health, this celebration is deeply personal. More than 70% of the 50,000+ patients we serve each year and many of our employees identify as Hispanic or Latino. While Hispanic Heritage Month provides a special opportunity to recognize these contributions, we are proud to celebrate, support, and serve our Hispanic and Latino patients, communities, and team members every day of the year.

We had an amazing time at our Back-to-School Jam at the Fairmount Primary Care Center! 🎒📚

Every child received a DVCH-branded backpack filled with school supplies, and families enjoyed a delicious lunch together.

A special thank you to Howard Bembry, PA-C, for his generous donation of all the food and school supplies for our children. We are also grateful to our incredible staff and to Monica Dorsey, Health Center Manager, for their hard work and dedication in making this event such a success.

Thank you to everyone who helped us prepare our students for a great school year!

Delewin De Leon, Medical Clerk at Parkview Health Center, is representing DVCH in the National Health Center Week 2026 Button Contest, and we’d love your support! 
 
What makes Delewin’s entry especially unique is that she is one of only two contestants who hand-drew her button design, making it a truly original and personal creation.
 
Public voting is open through August 28th, and you may vote once per device and once per email address. Every vote counts!
 
The winning design will be announced September 1st in the National Association of Community Health Centers’ Washington Update newsletter. The winning button will then be printed and distributed to attendees at NACHC’s 2027 Policy & Issues Forum.

Every year, Delaware Valley Community Health proudly joins the National Association of Community Health Centers in celebrating our communities, our patients, our partners, and, most importantly, our dedicated staff during National Community Health Center Week.

This year, we hosted ice cream socials across our health centers as a small token of appreciation for the extraordinary work our team does every day. Their compassion, commitment, and dedication are what make our mission possible and allow us to provide high-quality, culturally competent care to the communities we serve.

Celebrating freedom and health, together. 🎆 Wishing our community a safe and happy 4th of July from all of us at DVCH! In observance of Independence Day, all DVCH health centers are closed today, Friday, July 3. We will resume normal operations on Monday, July 6.

En conmemoración del Día de la Independencia, todos los centros de salud de DVCH están cerrados hoy, viernes 3 de julio. Reanudaremos nuestras operaciones normales el lunes 6 de julio.

While extreme heat can put everyone at risk from heat illnesses, health risks are greatest for:
- Older adults (65+ years old)
- Infants and children
- Pregnant people
- People with chronic medical conditions (respiratory, cardiovascular, and renal diseases)
- People living in low-income neighborhoods
- Athletes
- Outdoor workers

If you or anyone you know falls under one of these categories, take extra care during extremely high temperatures. Stay in a cool area, take extra breaks, and drink plenty of fluids.
