CFAR was founded more than 20 years ago with the intent to support and empower struggling families. Today, we continue the work that began with our founder, Maryann Volk and reach a broad and diverse population. The rain forecast won’t stop our Community Wellness Day tomorrow from 1-3:30pm! We are moving the event less than two blocks away to the beautiful Honickman Learning Center at 1936 Judson Street. Our team is taking steps to prepare for the challenges that our clients will face with their Medicaid coverage in the coming months, including educating our staff and clients on new requirements and timelines, partnering with a benefits navigation organization that can directly support our clients at our offices, and strengthening alliances within the community of mental health providers. We will do everything in our power to help assure our critical services remain accessible to our clients.
