One of my favorite adages: “what doesn’t kill us makes us stronger” has never been a truer affirmation than now, during this unpresented worldwide coronavirus crisis.
Most importantly, there’s no better time to remind ourselves that courage is our natural and organic state of mind -- our default position. Courage along with our other greatest inner strengths such as self-confidence can be blocked only by our fears and anxieties. In other words, courage is the "medicine" that’s always there, waiting for you to access and use it to better yourself, your world, and everything you care about. And self-confidence, hardwires the best attitudes we can acquire to accomplish practically anything!
In the last week, I’ve talked to many people about challenges with their kids, companies, jobs, long-term careers and health. And I was reminded that just as you can feel down in the best of times, you can still feel good in the worst of times.
If you’re like me, you’ve had your fill of tips for surviving this crisis. But clearly, the most prevalent problem is the anxiety triggered by these dangerously uncertain times.
There’s no better moment or reason to convert fear to courage. So let’s attack that anxiety right now!
