Good food most days, and room for everything ❤️
That’s my food philosophy as a dietitian. After 10+ years working with women who have tried it all (counting, keto, starting over every Monday), this is also what I know can last 🤗✨
1️⃣ Add, don’t subtract. Spinach in the pasta, a random side of green beans, apple slices with that chocolate. It’s a shift of perspective, try it! 🥕
2️⃣ Most of the time, I eat veggies or fruit at every meal and protein at most meals, with plenty of fiber from beans, oats, rye and seeds. My go-to breakfast is Greek yogurt with berries, nuts and cereal. I make sure my food is healthy AND tastes good! 🍎🫐
3️⃣ Habits over rules, so I don’t have to think so much. 🤷♀️😂🤓. Prepping is gold, and shortcuts are allowed: pre-cut broccoli, portioned snacks, canned beans, a rotisserie chicken. Whatever makes the healthy choice the easy one. Do it! 👌
4️⃣ Nothing is forbidden. Yes, I’ll have my pistachio croissant, and I’ll enjoy every bite 🥐🤎
5️⃣ Flexible, not perfect. Big dinner out? All ok. My next meal is just my normal breakfast. Nothing to make up for. 🩷
Zero pekpinnar here. This is a way of eating built for a real Tuesday 🇸🇪🇺🇸 Wherever you are!!
New week tomorrow. Save this and take it with you, share with a friend who needs it 😘
