Edward C. Tomaszewski Inc. Funeral Home Allegheny Ave. Exit of I-95. We are located on the third block of Allegheny Avenue on the corner of Edward C. Tomaszewski Inc.

Funeral Home has had the privilege of serving the Port Richmond neighborhood and surrounding Philadelphia neighborhoods since 1924. We are a family owned and operated Funeral Home for four generations. We feel privileged to assist families during one of the most difficult times in their lives. Grace C. Redden (nee Mamrol) (76) of Philadelphia, PA and North Wildwood, NJ, passed away on March 6, 2026.

Grace was born on 11/25/49 to Stanley and Anna Mamrol of Philadelphia, PA.

Grace worked her way up through the field of commerical property management. Starting as a receptionist and retiring after rising to Property Manager of some of the most well known buildings in Center City Philadelphia.

Grace is predeceased by her husband of 24 years, John Redden. She is survived by her children, Christine Chambers (Michael), her son George W. Still IV, her grandaughter, Corynn Still and her grandson, Christian Chambers.

A private memorial service will be held on March 20, 2026. In lieu of flowers, donations appreciated to either City of Elderly Love: Save a Senior pet (cityofelderlylove.org) or The Alzheimers Association (alz.org)

STANISLAW PRUSIK

Stanislaw (Stas) Prusik was born in 1937, in a small village, Ziomek, Poland. Stas left home at an early age to seek a career as auto mechanic. He served the the obligatory 2 years in the Polish Army, where he learned to drive trucks as well as repair them. Upon completing his military service, he became a long-distance driver for a local manufacturing company and enjoyed driving across Poland and neighboring countries and repairing those trucks, which broke down often.

Stas emigrated to the U.S. with his family in 1975. Although he worked many types jobs and demonstrated many talents, he always gravitated to repairing cars and trucks, eventually getting his commercial driving license. Towards the end of his career, he became a diesel mechanic and was responsible the maintenance of a fleet of buses.

Stas was a good provider for his family and was always working. He enjoyed learning new skills and always had a fun fact to share when having lively conversations around the dining room table. He loved to travel and explored many U.S. states, visited other countries and distant continents. Always proud of his Polish heritage, he was a founding member of the Polish Eagles Sports Club of Philadelphia.

Stas passed on December 31, 2025, and leaves behind two daughters, Danuta Misthal and Dorothy (Rich) Klimek and grandchildren Eric Misthal, Luke Misthal, Andrew (Dayna) Klimek, Monika (Timothy) Gorman, and Thomas Klimek as well as great granddaughter, Halina Klimek. He is also survived by his former wife, Marianna Prusik, mother of his children.

Relatives and friends are invited to viewing on Friday, January 9, 2026, at 7- 9 PM and Saturday morning, January 10, 2026, at 9:30 AM, at Tomaszewski Funeral Home, 2728-30 E. Allegheny Ave, Phila, PA 19134. Funeral Mass will take place on January 10, 2026, at 11:30 AM at St. Adalbert Church, 2645 E. Allegheny Ave, Phila, PA 19134. Interment at Our Lady of Czestochowa Cemetery, 654 Ferry Rd, Doylestown, PA 18901. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Josef Pilsudski Institute of America, 38 Greenpoint Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11222.
