PCOM, a private, not-for-profit accredited institution of higher education, operates three campuses (PCOM, PCOM Georgia and PCOM South Georgia) and offers doctoral degrees in clinical psychology, educational psychology, osteopathic medicine, pharmacy, physical therapy, and school psychology. The college also offers graduate degrees in applied behavior analysis, applied positive psychology, biomedical sciences, forensic medicine, medical laboratory science, mental health counseling, physician assistant studies, and school psychology. A day at the Zoo called for a few very important appointments. 🧸

At the Philadelphia Zoo, our students helped create an interactive Stuffie Clinic for children during the 52 Weeks of Firsts celebration. Children brought their favorite plush patients in for physical exams, where they could listen to their stuffie’s heart, check reflexes, apply bandages and offer plenty of encouragement.

Federal cannabis reclassification could be a game-changer for medical research.

As officials consider reclassifying ma*****na from Schedule I to Schedule III, barriers to serious clinical studies may finally start to come down. At PCOM, Katherine E.
