The Red Apple Center is hiring a Director.
This position is responsible for overseeing daily operations of the Center, supervising all employees, coordinating with job sites, and advocating for clients. Qualified applicants will need to be self-motivated, well organized, and possess strong communication skills. A high school diploma is required.

The Director reports directly to the Red Apple Center Board. This is a full-time, salaried position with the option of an IRA. Starting salary is $40,000–$46,000, depending on qualifications.

THE RED APPLE CENTER IS HIRING A SUPPORTIVE HOME WORKER

Red Apple Center, Inc is seeking to fill a part time (15-25 hrs./wk.) position as Supportive Home Worker. This position will work in the home of disabled adults assisting them with daily living skills around the home such as general cleaning, cooking, laundry and errands. This position will also work with adults with long term mental illnesses to assist with planning and coordination medical care, and transporting to and from medical appointments. Basic requirements include high school diploma/GED equivalent, valid drivers license, clean driving record withs proof of auto insurance. All applicants must be 18 years old or older, preemployment drug screening required, background check required, flexibility and adaptability of duties and hours required of all applicants. Employees will be furnished with a vehicle and phone to use when working. Starting wage is $15.00 per hour.

Recently at the Red Apple Center clients honored local Law Enforcement agencies for National Police week. Clients had a Q&A session with retired Price Co. Sheriff Deputy Laurie Zondlo before hitting the road.
They went to all the agencies with thank you cards and cookies to show their appreciation to Law Enforcement.
Clients visited ParkFalls PD and also got a tour of their squad car. Others visits included the Price Co. Sheriff 's office and Phillips Police department.

It's been an incredible 30 yrs since the first Twister movie. To celebrate, Day Services made their own debris filled tornadoes. We then watched the original Twister and some of us reminisced about seeing the movie when it first released at Cinema North.
