Pain along the inside of the elbow during golf swings, gripping, pull ups, rows, or even typing may be a sign of medial epicondylitis, commonly called “golfer’s elbow.” Despite the name, many patients who develop this condition have never played golf. It is often driven by repetitive overload of the flexor-pronator tendon complex of the forearm.
At The Performance Medicine Institute, treatment goes far beyond simply resting the elbow. We evaluate movement mechanics, grip loading, shoulder and thoracic mobility, tendon capacity, cervical contributions, and training errors that may be perpetuating symptoms.
