We're excited to welcome John Davidson, MD, to Barnet Dulaney Perkins Eye Center! 👏

Dr. Davidson is a 👀 cataract surgeon specializing in laser-assisted cataract surgery and adjustable lens procedures, serving patients throughout Metro Phoenix, including the East and West Valleys 🌵. His approach combines a comprehensive evaluation of each patient’s eye health, visual history, lifestyle, and goals to develop an individualized surgical and lens recommendation.

When appropriate, Dr. Davidson utilizes the ✨LENSAR, Inc. ALLY® Laser-Assisted Cataract System for advanced surgical planning and astigmatism management. He also values close collaboration with referring eye care providers through detailed consultation reports, surgical updates, and postoperative communication.

We’re proud to have Dr. Davidson join the BDP team and look forward to the expertise, compassion, and commitment to patient care he will bring to our Arizona communities.

Back-to-school prep goes beyond supplies and schedules. Set your child up for success by scheduling an eye exam.

Children may not always know how to explain that they are having trouble seeing, especially when it affects schoolwork, reading, or screen time. An eye exam can help identify vision changes that may be easy to miss.

Barnet Dulaney Perkins welcomes pediatric patients for annual eye exams at select locations across Arizona. While these providers may not be pediatric eye care specialists, they are experienced in evaluating children’s vision and overall eye health. Children who require specialized pediatric care may be referred to an appropriate specialist.

💡A peer-reviewed study led by Christine Funke, MD, examined early real-world outcomes in 👀 107 eyes treated with iDose® TR alongside microinvasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS) procedures.

After three months, the study found lower average eye pressure, fewer topical glaucoma medications, and a higher percentage of eyes no longer using pressure-lowering drops.
