🇺🇸 Happy Labor Day from Avista Memory Care! 🇺🇸

Today we celebrated by reminiscing about our careers and sharing all the wonderful things we used to do. ❤️ It was such a fun afternoon learning more about one another, hearing stories from years past, and discovering the many talents and skills within our Avista family!

And of course… we had to celebrate with something sweet! 🍪 Our Kitchen Sink Cookies were absolutely AMAZING!

A huge thank you to Chef Tracy for the delicious treat! 💕👩‍🍳

What a special Labor Day filled with memories, laughter, friendship, and cookies! 🇺🇸✨

Ask our residents, “What is a Buc-ee’s?” 🤔🦫

Well… they didn’t know until TODAY!! 😂

It was BUC-EE’S TASTING DAY at Avista Stratford, and WOW did we have a BLAST! 🎉

We tried Beaver Nuggets, jerky, pecans, fudge, chocolate, candy, fresh gummy bears and just about everything else we could get our hands on! 🍫🍬🥜

The only thing missing? Those famous Buc-ee’s sandwiches! 😂
But apparently that just means one thing…

BUC-EE’S ROAD TRIP NEXT!! 🚌🦫🙌

By the end of the afternoon, our residents were officially in love with that little beaver and already asking when we’re going to the real thing! ❤️

Nothing better than trying something new, laughing together, and turning an ordinary afternoon into a whole lot of fun.

Watch out, Buc-ee… Avista Stratford may be coming for you next! 😂🦫

💃🎶 What a dance party we had this afternoon with Ryan & Okke! 🎶🕺

There’s nothing better than great music, good friends, singing along, socializing, and of course some delicious snacks and drinks! 🥂🍿❤️

Our residents had such a wonderful time laughing, dancing, and enjoying the afternoon together. What a FUN way to kick off the long Labor Day weekend! 🇺🇸✨

🎂 And our Memory Care neighborhood celebrated our wonderful August birthdays, including a very special birthday celebration for Joseph! 🥳🎈

✨ Once Upon a Prom — Part Two! ✨

Part Two brought all the dazzle, surprises, and magic for our residents! The evening included beautiful prom pictures, a delicious four-course dinner for our residents and families, an amazing dessert buffet, and, of course, plenty of music and dancing! 💃🕺

Our magical night was topped off with the crowning of our 2026 Prom Royalty! 👑

Prom was so exciting that we have to share it with you in two parts! ✨💕

Part One: The glamorous transformation of our beautiful ladies as they prepared for Once Upon a Prom! 👑 They were filled with excitement as they had their hair and makeup done and transformed into the beautiful princesses of the evening.

From 3:30–4:00, everyone enjoyed delicious appetizers and drinks during a truly magical social hour before entering the prom. The excitement was everywhere, and the evening was only beginning!
