🎉 Welcome to the Waits Physical Therapy Team, Dani Denman!

We’re excited to welcome Dani Denman to Waits Physical Therapy as our newest Part-Time Exercise Technician! 👋

Dani is a junior at Grand Canyon University, planning to pursue her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree after graduation. She currently serves as the Secretary of the GCU Pre-Physical Therapy Club and is passionate about gaining hands-on experience and serving others through the field of physical therapy.

Her commitment to service extends beyond the classroom. Dani volunteers at St. Vincent de Paul Dining Hall, has served in a physical therapy clinic in the Dominican Republic, and is preparing to return to Central America next year to volunteer in Nicaragua. 🌎❤️

When she’s not studying or helping others, Dani loves hiking, camping, skiing, and playing pickleball. 🏔️⛺🎿🏓

We’re thrilled to have Dani joining the Waits PT team and look forward to watching her continue to grow as a future physical therapist!

We had the opportunity to welcome staff from Senator Mark Kelly to demonstrate how Physical Therapy can play an integral role in reducing falls in the elderly and reduce dependence on opioids for chronic pain. Thank you to Alliance for Physical Therapy Quality and Intervention (APTQI) and Health & Rehab Solutions for promoting the SAFE Act Bill that will provide Medicare beneficiaries access to PT/OT for annual fall risk assessments and stop Medicare cuts to our profession. We truly believe that congressional investing in Physical Therapy/Occupational Therapy services will reduce the overall spending of taxpayer healthcare dollars and significantly improve the lives of members in our communities.

🎉 Welcome to the Team, Dr. Nathan Monohon, PT, DPT! 🎉

We’re excited to officially welcome Nathan Monohon, PT, DPT to the Waits Physical Therapy family!

Nathan’s journey into physical therapy began as a young athlete growing up on the Oregon coast. After experiencing firsthand the impact that injuries can have on the activities you love, he developed a passion for helping others recover, move better, and return to doing what matters most.

Nathan earned his Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from Oregon State University before completing his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at A.T. Still University. Along the way, he demonstrated a commitment to leadership, service, and lifelong learning through volunteer work, adaptive sports programs, pro bono clinics, coaching, and community involvement.

When he’s not in the clinic, you’ll find Nathan staying active through soccer, running, hiking, traveling, and cheering on his favorite teams.

His passion for movement, dedication to patient care, and positive energy make him an incredible addition to our team, and we can’t wait for our patients and community to get to know him.

We’re excited to welcome Dom to the team as the newest Exercise Technician at Waits Physical Therapy!

Dom is currently studying at Arizona State University and is pursuing his passion for a career in healthcare. With a strong background in athletics and a dedication to helping others perform at their best, he’s already bringing great energy to our clinic.

Whether he’s assisting patients with exercises, supporting rehabilitation programs, or learning more about the healthcare field, Dom is eager to make a positive impact on everyone who walks through our doors.

We had the privilege of working with these amazing first year Physical Therapy students over the last few months. There is a reciprocal energy shared between mentor and mentee and we are grateful for the opportunity and experience.
